I had no idea there was a monarchy of footwork. Evidently, there is, and Packer running back Ty Montgomery is working with him according to Rob Demovsky.
Salute: ESPN.com
The price Montgomery will get at auction this year is one of this season's puzzlements. He was effective last season when Eddie Lacy was hurt. But, he's still a guy changing positions and plays for a team that doesn't seem to like running the ball. And for as often as the commentators told me he weighs in the neighborhood of 220 pounds, he still looks frail. Sure, he can be a threat out of the backfield; he was a wideout, but Packer backs never seem to have big receiving numbers. Flip flop, flip flop, flip flop. I suspect that here in Wisconsin, Montgomery will go for $30+. I mean, Mark Ingram went for $50 and Carlos Hyde for $48 last season, so $30 seems cheap. But, I still have an uneasy feeling.

Did Suspension Benefit Brady and Pats?
The Providence Journal makes a convincing argument can be made that quarterback Tom Brady’s four-game Deflategate suspension last season actually worked in the New England Patriots’ favor.
Salute: Providence Journal
True or not, Brady remains the elite QB in the game and warrants a bid commensurate with that status. In our league, he went for just $29 last season because of his looming suspension. He will go higher this year. $50+ is not unreasonable.

Kessler the Early Leader in Cleveland QB Race
The Browns aren’t making a quarterback decision yet. But when they start training camp, someone has to work with the starters.
That person, according to Browns coach Hue Jackson, will be Cody Kessler.
Neither Kessler is Osweiler worth $1 in an auction draft. However, Cleveland didn't draft Kizer to hold a clipboard, thus, he may be worth spending the dollar late in the draft for future development. Cleveland looks like a team that is starting to turn around. They have had a ton of draft picks and if they develop, there will be talent aplenty. If Kizer (or Kessler or Osweiler) can play, the Browns fortunes will be headed upward.
Until that development begins, however, stay away.

Long-Term Deal for Cousins Remains Unlikely
Salute: The Red Zone.org
Several issues exist. One, Cousins will make $23.9 million in guaranteed money this season by playing under the tag. If he plays out the season and then hits free agency, he could make another $50 million in fully guaranteed money.
Washington has made a mess out of the whole situation and is solely to blame for being stuck having to pay Cousins megabucks or face losing him.
The deadline to complete a deal is Monday, July 17.

Is it Time to Move on From Gronk?
Salute: NFL Spin Zone.com
There is truth to this, however, consider the rest of the tight ends in the NFL. Is there anyone, even fully healthy, that's much better? Granted, you don't want to risk big dollars on Gronk in an auction, but $3-$7 as your second TE is worth that risk, even if you only get half a season out of him.
However, Gronkowski is a player on the decline and not even playing with Brady will get him back to his once dominant ways.

While Foreman won't participate in any of the remaining drills in Indianapolis for precautionary reasons, the 233-pound bruiser should be ready to roll at UT's pro day on March 28.
