The Bears Do Something Smart

Salute: Pro Football Rumors

Randle, 26 in May, averaged 56 receptions, 782 yards, and six touchdowns over the three seasons with the Giants. At 6’4″ and 205 pounds, the former second-round pick offers solid athleticism for a receiver of his size and the Bears are willing to take a low-risk look at him.

I think this is a nice move by the Bears.  They get some talent at a position that needs it with very little risk or money.

As for fantasy value, there may be a reason to spend a buck on Randle at the end of the draft.   You'll have several weeks of preseason to help you make up your mind.  His auction values 2012-14 were $5, $3, and $2, respectively.

Now...if the Bears can get someone to throw him, and others, the ball.
