Randle, 26 in May, averaged 56 receptions, 782 yards, and six touchdowns over the three seasons with the Giants. At 6’4″ and 205 pounds, the former second-round pick offers solid athleticism for a receiver of his size and the Bears are willing to take a low-risk look at him.
I think this is a nice move by the Bears. They get some talent at a position that needs it with very little risk or money.
As for fantasy value, there may be a reason to spend a buck on Randle at the end of the draft. You'll have several weeks of preseason to help you make up your mind. His auction values 2012-14 were $5, $3, and $2, respectively.
Now...if the Bears can get someone to throw him, and others, the ball.
