Manning’s individual year didn’t play out too differently. He had a handful of strong games, a handful of rough ones and 20 turnovers sprinkled across the regular season, which added up to a drop in production from the last two years for both quarterback and team.
Manning and the Giants ended the season yesterday with a 38-13 loss at Lambeau to the Packers. He's under contract for three more seasons at $19.7M, $22.2M, and $23.2M.
Fantasy-wise, Manning has been a very useful #2 QB for years. Until last season, his highest auction draft value was just $15. Last season, he was auctioned for $21, a figure that is comparatively too high when judged against the big names like Brady, Brees, Ryan, and Rodgers. Still, in 2014 and 2015, Manning was drafted at $3 and $12, respectively, numbers commensurate with his fantasy production.
Manning's final 2016 numbers were 270 points which made him the #20 quarterback and #26 player overall.
