In the Packers’ sweep of the Lions, Aaron Rodgers out-pointed Matthew Stafford in a matchup of quarterbacks who carried their teams most of the season. Rodgers’ passer rating of 126.0 was well above Stafford’s 96.3.
The Packers completed running the table tonight with a win over Detroit. Aaron Rodgers finished the year with 40TD passes to lead the NFL and is the fantasy football leading overall scorer with 418 points, the only player to cross the 400-point threshold this season. Green Bay gets the #4 seed in the NFC Playoffs and will host the Giants at Lambeau Field next Sunday.

I was surprised to learn that this is the first time that Rodgers led the league in TD passes, which would explain his leading the fantasy points. Pack need him to play well for a few more games. MVP
ReplyDeleteRodgers' best year was 2011 when he finished with 45TD's. Drew Brees threw 46 that year to lead the league. Rodgers also threw 39 in 2012 and 38 in 2014.
