Drafts may be 8 months away, but that doesn’t mean you can’t look ahead and start planning for the 2017 season.
Franchise Fantasy Football requires teams to be planning ahead because of the ability for teams to keep players via contract extensions. Of the Fantasy Pros' top ten, Ezekiel Elliott may be the most difficult player for our owner to re-sign because of his $61 base salary which becomes $70 in 2017 and $78 in 2018. David Johnson is already under contract at just $13 next season. Le'Veon Bell is in the final year of his deal for $46. Antonio Brown is in the last year of his deal at $14 and, rounding out the top five, Odell Beckham is signed for just $4, with four more years after that.
