The former Michigan football Swiss Army knife did it all on the college football field. He played everywhere. He played 10 positions — in a single game. But that’s not good in the in the eyes of the NFL, which loves to fit round pegs into round holes.
This is insanity. OF COURSE, Jabril Peppers is a first-round pick. I have never, ever, heard of any NFL team that didn't like versatility among its players. For the love of all things holy, Houston uses J.J. Watt on offense; even as a Wildcat QB on the goal-line. For another, Deone Buchanan was a safety out of college and now plays LB for Arizona; same for Thomas Davis in Carolina. Believe me, someone will find a use for Jabril Peppers as a first-round pick. There shouldn't be anyone crazy enough to believe otherwise. Anybody think Bill Belichick wouldn't drool over having Peppers available at 32? Anyone? Anyone?
