New York will have to pay Fitzpatrick $5 million of the $10 million he was set to be paid in 2017 as part of the signing bonus portion of his contract.
Fitzpatrick scored just 137 points last season and heaved an unsightly 17 interceptions. Unless he lands a starting gig somewhere else (highly doubtful) he has no value in an auction draft. Or any other style of draft.
