Joel Corry of CBS Sports reports $3 million of Julius Thomas' $7 million base salary becomes fully guaranteed on February 10.
Thomas signed a 5-year/$46M deal prior to the 2015 season and has not performed to the level of money he is making. In 21 games, his stat line is 76/736/9.
Further, he has burned many a fantasy owner who expected his Denver-level of production to continue in Jacksonville. It hasn't happened.
If Thomas isn't released on Friday, it will be a surprise.
In an auction draft, depending on where he ends up, he may be worth up to $3. And not one penny more.
