Fitzgerald told Jim Trotter of ESPN.com and confirmed with multiple reporters that he will return to the Arizona Cardinals for the 2017 season, which is the final year of his contract with the team.
Fitzgerald still has gas in the tank. He was the number 12 receiver with 203 points. He was drafted for $28 last season, a number I would be comfortable paying in 2017, insofar as he has remained healthy and productive. Beyond 2017, I would be wary. There is no guarantee he will continue his stellar career beyond '17.
