Romo to Chiefs?

Salute: NFL.com

NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Friday that the Kansas City Chiefs are one team that could be interested in Romo. Rapoport said that K.C. has been looking to upgrade at the QB position after losing in the Divisional Round for the second straight season with Alex Smith under center.

I keep saying it, but why would anyone TRADE ANYTHING for Romo?  Dallas has to release him. Why give up a pick AND pay Romo's contract?  Simply wait for the cut, then make a good offer to the man and save the pick.   And this goes not only for Kansas City, but Denver, Houston, Buffalo, the Jets or any other team who would like to have him.
